Such big pancakes from such a compact country. At Cafe Benelux in the Third Ward, the Dutch-style pannenkoeken are enormous, sort of like crepes on steroids, dangling over the edges of a large plate. The brunch menu has one that's simple, just maple syrup and powdered sugar, but mostly at brunch and dinner the toppings go big, too.
